Our mission is to create a simple, trustworthy, and efficient community for sharing tools. We are validating this model to promote a circular economy and help people get their jobs done without the high cost of tool ownership.
How ToolShare Works
1. Find a Tool
Search for the tool you need in your local area. Filter by category, price, or location.
2. Book & Pay
Select your dates and book securely. The lender will confirm the handover details.
3. Get the Job Done
Pick up the tool, complete your project, and return it. Don't forget to leave a review!

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I damage a tool?
Accidents happen. If a tool breaks during normal use, please inform the lender immediately. You are responsible for damages caused by negligence or misuse. We recommend having private liability insurance (Privathaftpflicht).
How do payments work?
Payments go through the platform (Escrow style). We hold the funds securely and only release them to the lender once the rental is successfully completed without disputes.
Is my data safe?
Yes, we take data privacy seriously. We only share necessary contact information once a booking is confirmed. See our Terms of Service for more details.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the rental starts. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
What if I have a dispute with the owner?
If there is a disagreement, please report it immediately via the dashboard. We will mediate and hold funds until a resolution is reached.
